  • Having dentures which look fake and unrealistic?
  • Being embarrassed by your smile?
  • Looking older because you feel you have a “sunken look”?
  • Being unable to eat your food?
  • Constantly having your dentures move?

Same Day Teeth Suite offers a variety of dentures that can help resolve your issues! Without wasting anymore time, here are our top range dentures!

  1. BPS Dentures

BPS dentures allow us to use the highest quality available (both teeth and plastic) and we have a wide array of shapes and colours of teeth to suit every profile. The BPS dentures use the SR Ivocap processing system, which uses continuous heat and injection-moulding that allows us to produce dentures that fit comfortably.

What is more, Ivoclar teeth create a realistic smile; therefore, no one will be able to tell you are wearing dentures. Moreover, compared to the cheaper acrylic teeth, Ivoclar teeth are significantly longer-lasting.

That being said; we use a STRATOS 300 IVOCALR articulator which allow us to position the teeth in an accurate way to achieve good stability for the dentures. By using this device, we can study your jaw movements accurately from front to back and from side to side. The advantage of this is that this will reduce the movements of your dentures as you eat.

In short, we not only use high-end materials and techniques, but also ensure your comfort, while you are wearing extremely durable and life-like dentures.

Steps to Make a BPS Denture
First and foremost, you will need to book a consultation and have us examine your mouth. Then, we will:

    • Take preliminary impressions utilising the Accu-Dent system-the latest in dentistry.
    • Once we have the final impressions, we use UTS (Universal Transfer System) to implement a Face Bow transfer.
    • Use an intraoral tracking device to have bite registrations. Usually, we use Ivoclar Gnathometer.
    • Finalizing the wax set up
    • Process Ivocap.
    • Insert the dentures.
  2. Swiss Dentures

The Swiss technique allows us to create a very stable and comfortable denture, especially when incorporated with dental implants. The Swiss dentures use the highest quality material and all the gum and teeth work is made by the leading Swiss dental manufacturer, Candulor. At Same Day Teeth Suite, we also use PHYSIOSTAR NFC Anterior teeth and CONDYLOFORM NFC Posterior teeth. Of course, needless to say, our technician is certified in the construction of the Swiss denture technique.

So, What Are My Options If My Teeth Cannot Be Salvaged?

If the teeth cannot be saved, you will need to have some teeth removed. The next step after that is to replace the missing teeth with a form of fixed tooth replacement, meaning either with high-quality partial dentures or fixed bridges dependable on the quality of the teeth that can hold the bridges. This means that you can have natural looking teeth which are fixed onto your current teeth, which do not require any removable plates. Another option is to have dental implants.
Of course, the gum has to be very healthy and have enough bone, in order for the dental implant to replace teeth and mimic the natural tooth.

What Happens if you Have Advanced Gum Disease?

In case you have advanced gum disease on all your teeth, there is no other option left than, unfortunately, removing all your teeth. After that though, there are things you can do to get your smile back. One option is to have very high-quality dentures, such as BPS or Swiss dentures.

Why BPS or Swiss Dentures?

The advantage of these dentures over national health or standard dentures is that you’re using the highest quality teeth to make it look as natural as possible, so no one distinguishes you have a denture.
What is very unique about these teeth is that there are different moulds, different shapes, and different colours. Therefore, we are able the design them to the patient’s features. Another great thing about these dentures is their engineering properties and the way they are constructed. We are using the highest type of acrylic, called injection moulded acrylic, which means that you get an exquisite suction and very good support of these dentures, reducing the risk of them moving.

That said; BPS and Swiss dentures are carefully constructed in a way that allows the teeth to move from left to right, forward and backward, providing high stability of the dentures, besides an excellent movement.
Other Available Options of Replacing Teeth:

  1. Dentures on Implants

If you lose all your teeth, then dentures on implants is another excellent solution to your problem. The way dentures are made make them very secure, in a very affordable way. For example, we could use 2-4 implants in the lower jaw to secure the denture. On the upper jaw, we generally use a minimum of 4 implants to achieve the desired results.

  2. Fixed Bridges on Implants

This is the best way of having fixed teeth so nothing is removed. On the lower and upper jaw, we use a minimum of 6 dental implants to allow us to place a well-crafted, natural looking bridge to replace the missing teeth.

  3. Teeth In A Day

In specific cases only, the final option for certain patients is a procedure called Teeth In A Day, where the teeth are taken out, let the patient heal for a couple of weeks, before we place an immediate fixed bridge. It is a great way for patients that want to avoid the denture completely.

If you have teeth that cannot be saved, or you think they aren’t salvageable, please contact us to discuss your options and find the best possible solution that will bring your quality of life back and ensure your wide smile for many years!

What Are The Options When You Lose Your Teeth?

Posted on: March 5th, 2014 by freshadmin No Comments

Often patients consult us with teeth that are poorly compromised. They either have dentures or just not-so-great prognosis. In this blog post, let’s discuss the options that you have when you have these dental issues as well as the solutions and options when you have a missing upper or lower teeth or both.

What to do when you lose a tooth or teeth just like this?

You have a number of options:

  1. Do nothing
  2. Dentures
  3. Denture implants
  4. Fixed bridges
  5. Fixed bridges with implants

Let’s talk about this slowly and in detail. First, doing nothing would never cause a positive change to your teeth, to your mouth and to you as a whole. So, we don’t recommend it.

Number two is dentures. Dentures is good when you have a limited budget. However, you do not need to worry on this because we offer a number of payment options.

With Same Day Teeth Suite, we have two types of dentures:

  1. Basic dentures – These are the typical dentures.
  2. BPS (Our advanced dentures) – These are  injection-molded dentures which gives a much superior, better fit. Also is managed properly an occlusion to avoid movement.

Same Day Teeth Suite also offers Swiss dentures which again are injection-molded dentures but are made by doing a gothic hug tracing, so we get that balance occlusion even much better. In simple terms, it uses the aid of post-modern technology to create a much more quality teeth.

The other option that we can give you is dentures on implants or fixed bridges on implants. It’s very important that this is precision fit because if you don’t get precision fit then you can have complications with overloading of implants.

Another thing to consider is your bite forces. This is very important to have something which is durable and very strong to withhold those bite forces. I also talk about how we manage it from a bite perspective so that we don’t have any uneven forces when biting together and causing undue loading. While waiting for  the customised product, patients can also wear a temporary denture, but then I send the bar work and in this case we placed  on top for, in this case, for retrievability,

This is an example of a compromised teeth:
