Following graduation from Dundee University in 2000, Dr Kalpesh Bohara went on to practice maxillofacial dentistry and developed an interest in the use of dental implants in cosmetic surgery.

He furthered his implantology interest with training in the UK and abroad alongside some of the world’s leading specialists with whom he also developed his considerable cosmetic and orthodontic skills.

Dr Bohara holds advanced certification in restorative dentistry gained at the renowned Eastman Institute in London. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of Dental Surgeons and an implant mentor to fellow dental professionals.

He continues to further his implantology knowledge with regular training in advanced dentistry and often takes referrals from other dentists for complex implant cases, cosmetic treatments, oral surgery and IV sedation.

Dr Adam Patel

Dr Adam Patel graduated from the University of Liverpool before undertaking extensive post-graduate training in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics and oral surgery. His further training includes diplomas from the Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

He is one of only a handful of dentists to gain the University of Manchester’s Master’s degree in implantology.

Dr Patel will be familiar to readers of the Leicester Mercury newspaper for which he writes a regular health column. He is also a frequent author of clinical articles in respected journals.

In recent years Dr Patel has worked on research into oropharyngeal cancer and implant-associated infections. He now passes on his implantology skills and experience to fellow dentists as a professional mentor.

His commitment to charity work has taken Dr Patel to East Africa, where he provided essential dental education to communities in the developing world. He has also completed a trek along the Great Wall of China in aid of charity.
